Réalisée par le Centre de données socio-politiques (CDSP), cette post-harmonisation a permis de rendre comparable des enquêtes électorales françaises conçues de façon plus ou moins hétérogène entre 1958 et 2017. Onze références de la collection du CDSP ont été sélectionnées dans la perspective de couvrir la majeure partie des élections de la V République. Cette entreprise de curation constitue également la contribution française au projet européen True European Voter (TEV). Les données françaises ont été recodées et compilées suivant la norme développée par TEV. Ce lissage permet une comparabilité géographique et historique des opinions et des comportements électoraux dans 27 pays européens.
La base de données européenne et la documentation détaillée (Codebook) sont diffusées par le GESIS.
Les fichiers mis à disposition par le CDSP sont :
- une base harmonisée des données françaises selon la norme TEV regroupant environ 4000 variables et plus de 30 000 individus ;
- une base de métadonnées (chaque variable est associée à un concept et sous-concept de la nomenclature TEV, ces attributions facilitent la trouvabilité de l’information au sein des différents jeux de données : provenance de la variable, son nom, question source, catégories).
